What to Bring

Food: We provide nutritious meals, but you’re welcome to bring your cat’s own pre-portioned and labeled food if preferred.

Medications: Cat medication policies vary by location. Karnik Maple is unable to administer medications to cats for safety reasons. Karnik Central may be able to administer cat medications with advance notice. Please contact us prior to booking to discuss your cat’s needs.

Bedding: Each suite includes soft bedding. You may bring washable bedding from home for extra comfort.

Toys & Scratching Posts: You’re welcome to bring a favorite toy or small scratching post. Just let us know in advance so we can accommodate it.

What vaccinations are required for my cat?

Rabies, DHLPP, and either a negative feline leukemia test or current FeLV vaccination.

Do you lodge outdoor cats?

Policies vary by location due to the physical setup of our cat rooms. Karnik Maple boards indoor-only cats. Karnik Central may accommodate non-feral outdoor cats. Please contact us prior to booking to confirm eligibility.

What is included in my cat’s lodging rate?

Each stay includes a private suite, fresh meals, litter service, daily wellness checks, and one-on-one attention from our team. Bowls, bedding, and a litter box are provided—no need to bring your own.

Can I check on my cat while they’re lodging?

Absolutely! Our team provides optional daily photo updates so you can see how your cat is doing while you’re away. Just ask to add updates to your reservation.

What happens if I’m delayed picking up my cat?

We understand that travel plans can change! If you’re delayed, we’ll continue to care for your cat and simply extend the stay at our standard daily rate.

Can my cat receive medication during their stay?
